At C2 Coding, we are committed to helping our students achieve their goals and give them a starting place or advance their learning in computer science.
Materials for Learning
Students just need a laptop and internet access. Ear buds are optional, but may help if they are in a noisy environment. Students should also have a willingness to make mistakes, because learning to code is full of error making.
Coding Languages Taught
Each class has a different language focus. In the beginner classes I teach block coding so that students grasp the bigger overall concepts of iteration and selection without having to worry about syntax. The next class can either be done in Javascript or python. The difficulty level is the same with regards to the projects that are created. The last class we offer is Java which would be a good class to take before taking AP CSA in high school.
